If Shakti isn’t right for you, you can return your items free of charge for an exchange or refund within 60 days of receiving your order, provided the goods are in the same condition as when you received them and purchased at full-price or on a limited-time promotion. Will it hurt? Yes. But only for a little in the beginning.
Each spike responds to tension in your body, so more tension = more sensation. The initial “Ouch!” you feel activates your body’s pain response and tells it to send happiness hormones and pain-relief chemicals to the area you’re targeting. If those spikes aren’t sharp enough—or you’re beyond relaxed already—you won’t feel much.
After a few minutes, the tingling sensation fades into a deep, relaxing warmth. The redness is purely a circulation boost. You might even fall asleep.

I was surprised at how quickly I achieved that warm sensation. I'd compare the experience to a cold water dipping, once your body adjusts to the cold/spikes (approx 2 minutes for me, it's pure bliss.

I have used the pillow every day for 10 days and so far it's been great. This is my first purchase, I wanted something for my neck and lower back so this does the job perfectly. I went straight to level 2 because I have high pain tolerance and I didn't want to get used to it too soon, but I think level 3 would have been good too.
One thing I have noticed though is that I am already getting used to using it on my neck, so I don't think the effects are as strong as when I first started using it. On my lower back it's taking longer so I'm hoping I don't get used to it to soon.
Definitely recommended though, I think it's better than a mat at hitting those critical spots.

I find the diameter of this pillow an issue, it seems to force your neck into a reverse bend (which with a partial neck fusion is an issue).
This makes it difficult for me to get comfortable with.
Acupressure aspect works great though.
