Will it hurt? Yes. But only for a little in the beginning.
Each spike responds to tension in your body, so more tension = more sensation. The initial “Ouch!” you feel activates your body’s pain response and tells it to send happiness hormones and pain-relief chemicals to the area you’re targeting. If those spikes aren’t sharp enough—or you’re beyond relaxed already—you won’t feel much.
After a few minutes, the tingling sensation fades into a deep, relaxing warmth. The redness is purely a circulation boost. You might even fall asleep.

Just kidding….walking on this mat with bare feet is a test of true sensitivity and tolerance! I started lying on the mat with a r shirt on…. The initial discomfort wanes with time. Fingers crossed I hope it works!

Ive been using this for a couple of weeks. It can bw challenging ( with pain) but i breath through it, add a layer of clothing or i have used it on bed or memory foam mat. I aim for 20 min on mat and ive noticed deeper sleep after use and feel relaxed.
