What you need to know

The Shakti Headband targets key acupressure points around the sides and back of the head to help you:
• Relieve mild headaches

There are two key ways to use your Headband:
1. Across the centre of your forehead to relieve head tension
2. Under your chin with the spikes targeting tension in your jawA light wrap is all you need for each spike to get started. Wear it for at least 15 minutes and let all that tension melt with each breath.
If you already own a Shakti Mat or Pillow, adding your Headband to your practice is a great meditation aid. You can also use it for a deeper savasana, or mental clarity at your WFH space.
Pro tip
• Take the pressure up a notch by wrapping the Headband under the base of your skull and resting your occipital bone on a yoga block.
• Experiment with the intensity once you’re used to the sensation by tightening or loosening the strap

Pressing spikes into your face might look like the opposite of relaxing, but the Headband is designed to provide subtle pressure. There will be a slight sensation in the beginning, but that’s completely normal. Acupressure doesn’t work if you can’t feel it.
Circulation will increase and you’ll feel tension “let go” as pressure lifts from your head.

Shakti Headbands have Level 1 spikes. Why? Because wrapping spikes is different to lying on them. You can adjust the intensity with compression as opposed to relying on gravity alone. Perfect whether you want to increase the intensity of each spike—or ease off for a therapeutic touch.

I'm a trucker so the clenched jaw and hatred of the sun leads to crippling headaches after a long day of dealing with dipsticks in traffic. 20 minutes with this and it melts away.

Love this headband! As much as a want to Shakti everynight, sometimes it isn't possible, but this head band can come with me when away from home and is great to use at the end of the night before bed.
After the first use the dimples it leaves in your forehead are a little worrying, but they disappear during the night. Because of the indents, I wouldn't recommend using this to de-stress shortly before an event or meeting, but keep it to when you have time in your own space ❤️

Like this headband but can’t get it on more tightly around my forehead and would like to be able to adjust the pressure to firmer if possible. It also slips off quite easily, so you don’t really get the same benefits as other products like the mat and even the rings. This sadly is the only purchase I regret, u don’t hate it just personally didn’t work for me.

Found the headband to be very helpful with my tension headaches. I get a lot of tension around the temples and eyebrow area and this helps to relieve that greatly.
